Deeya Sharma more than doubled her goal to donate $3000 for BC Children’s Hospital by raising $7200 by canvassing her neighbourhood, school and around the community and online.

Deeya also donated her hair for Wigs for Kids BC and because she reached her fundraising goal, her younger twin sisters Leeya and Leena also donated their hair.

The grade six student of Pleasant Valley School in Nanaimo received $983 from fellow students.
