Nanaimo RCMP is looking for a male suspect after a Nanaimo gas station was the target of an armed robbery Sunday night.
Police say a male armed with a handgun demanded a clerk to hand over cash from the til of a Gas N Go convenience store at the corner of Uplands Drive and Turner Road just after 8 p.m.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and took off on foot.
Police say no employees were injured in the ordeal.

RCMP Police Dog Services and numerous officers responded and tracked the suspect toward the intersection of Oliver Road and Highway 19A, but the male got away.
The suspect is described by police as a Caucasian male, possibly between 30-and-40 years old with a slim build.
He was wearing a dark hoodie, toque, gloves and blue jeans.
Police ask witnesses or anyone with information on the incident to call Nanaimo RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
