
A Wednesday morning crash at Cook and Finlayson streets has left a motorcyclist with serious injuries, according to police.
Police say they were called to the intersection for reports of a crash involving a car and motorcycle at around 7 a.m.
The man driving the motorcycle was taken to hospital with “potentially life-threatening” injuries.
Pictures from the scene showed a green Victoria Taxi vehicle behind police tape, with motorcycle debris in front of it.
Police are now looking for anyone who may have been recording dashcam video in the area from 6:45 a.m. on, as well as any witnesses of the collision.
VicPD tweeted the intersection reopened after the investigation at 11:18 a.m.
