
Nanaimo RCMP says the missing 37-year-old woman with “significant” medical issues has been found.
“She has been located safe and sound,” an RCMP spokesperson said Sunday afternoon.

Mounties in Nanaimo are calling on the public for help as they try to locate a missing woman who they say has “significant” medical issues.
The 37-year-old left her home at around 9 p.m. Saturday and hasn’t been seen since, according to Nanaimo RCMP in a news release.
“Investigators were told by family members that (she) has significant medical issues, and as a result, they are extremely worried for her safety and well-being,” states the release from Sunday.
“Police have conducted extensive patrols but have been unable to locate her.”
RCMP say the woman, who doesn’t carry a cell phone or drive, is “overall cheerful but may appear as distressed.” She stands at 5’6″, weighs 200 lbs., has blonde hair, and was last seen wearing a purple T-shirt, black bike shorts and teal-coloured Crocs.
Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911, and those with information about her whereabouts should reach out to Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
