Campbell River RCMP says the two teens who were reported missing earlier this week have been found safe.

In an update shared on Facebook, the RCMP detachment says Police Dog Norco found the teens.

The teens were reported missing on Feb. 13 after having last been seen on Feb. 12.

On Feb. 15, police shared that the teens were believed to actively be evading detection and travelling together on Quadra and Cortes islands.

The teens were thought to be camping in the forests on Quadra Island.

CHEK News is no longer identifying the teens as they have been found.
