Two military ships will be conducting a sail past of Clover Point, Ogden Point and Esquimalt Lagoon on Monday prior to heading out to sea on Operation CARIBBE 2022.

On February 21, Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships Saskatoon and Yellowknife will be the two ships departing for the operation — representing Canada in the U.S.-led enhanced counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean.

Under this operation, HMC Ships and aircraft deployed to the region will conduct operations to support the U.S. mission to suppress trafficking in international waters.

The vessels are scheduled to sail by Clover Point at 3:07 p.m., be near Ogden Point breakwater at 3:22 p.m., and be near Esquimalt Lagoon at 3:37 p.m.

The military is inviting the public to stop by one of the locations to spectate and take photos.
