WATCH: In their first game of the PBL season, the Victoria Mariners dominated their cross-town rival Victoria Eagles by a score of 7-0 at Lambrick Park.

Mariners pitcher Duncan Brens was sensational, as he gave up just four hits en route to the complete game shutout. The Mariners now prepare for a weekend series against the Mid-Island Pirates, while the Eagles fall to 0-5 on the young season, and will look for some success when they host the UBC Thunder for a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.
