VicPD said that a man was taken to hospital after falling from the Johnson Street Bridge late Saturday night.
Cst. Matt Rutherford said that officers attended the scene at approximately 11:40 p.m. for reports of a man who had fallen. The man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries
“It appears that the man leaned on the railing and fell to the ground below,” Rutherford said, adding that the incident served as a reminder for the public to always be safe and aware while crossing any bridge.
Rutherford said that VicPD had concluded their investigation as of Sunday.
