Certain Greenbelt Microgreens products sold in B.C. and Alberta have been recalled because of a listeria contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has put out a recall of salad-type products from Greenbelt Microgreens sold in B.C. and Alberta because of a listeria contamination.

According to its website, Greenbelt Microgreens sells its products in Victoria at Whole Foods.

The products being recalled include arugula, broccoli, pea shoots, sunflower, wheatgrass and other green mixes.

The entire list of products under the recall can be found here.

The CFIA says food contaminated with listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.

The contamination is especially dangerous for pregnant women since the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or stillbirth.

The CFIA says the recall was triggered by the company.
