CHEK News projects that Laurel Collins has been elected in the riding of Victoria for the New Democratic Party.

Collins was nominated as the candidate for the NDP after MP Murray Rankin, who held the seat for the party from 2012-2019, announced he would not seek re-election.

Collins’ election will trigger a by-election to fill her vacant seat on Victoria City Council.
