Johnson Street Bridge in Victoria to close for routine inspection tonight

Victoria’s Johnson Street Bridge will be closed from 10 p.m. tonight until around 2 a.m. Wednesday for a planned inspection by PCL Constructors Westcoast Ltd.

The bridge will be in the upright position while the inspection is underway and will be closed to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Traffic will be detoured to the Bay Street Bridge.

PCL also built the bridge span, which opened March 31 to replace the old bridge that was constructed in the 1920s.
