CHEK News projects that Jody Wilson-Raybould has been re-elected in Vancouver Granville, running as an independent candidate.
Wilson-Raybould was at the centre of the SNC Lavalin scandal which enveloped Trudeau’s Liberal Government in early 2019.
Wilson-Raybould resigned from her cabinet post as Attorney General after she accused the Prime Minister’s Office of inappropriately pressuring her to intervene in the prosecution of Quebec based engineering giant SNC-Lavalin.
Trudeau later kicked Wilson-Raybould and fellow cabinet Minister Jane Philpott out of the Liberal caucus.
