A Victoria resident has added a hefty sum to his bank account after winning a BC/49 lotto draw in December.

BCLC says that Roger Dhur of Victoria has won $75,000 after he matched five out of six numbers in the BC/49 draw that took place on December 9, 2020.

He was able to check the results online and verify them at a retailer in order to confirm his winnings.

“Sure enough, it was a $75,000 winner! It feels so good,” he added.

BCLC notes that Dhur hasn’t yet decided exactly what to do with his earnings from the lotto draw, suggesting that he will put his prize into savings while pondering what to do with it.

In the meantime, Dhur notes he is excited to share the news with his family.
