The strong ridge of high pressure that kept skies clear across Vancouver Island Saturday is breaking down, allowing a low-pressure system to move over the south coast.
Expect increasing cloud Sunday across Vancouver Island, with rain starting on the north and west coast by mid-morning.
The system will slide to the east coast and south to Victoria later in the day, bringing rain by Sunday evening.
