Paris Hilton was in B.C.’s capital this weekend to headline one of the first night’s of this year’s Rifflandia music festival.
Hilton played an 11 p.m. DJ set at the music festival’s “Electric Avenue” on Friday evening.
Instagram stories show the celebrity taking in the city at sunset.
“My first time here in Victoria BC[,] I love it!” she wrote in a social media post Friday. “So beautiful. Can’t wait to see you all tonight at Rifflandia.”

This year’s Rifflandia music festival is the biggest yet, with the event expanding to two weekends at two venues.
This weekend’s shows took place at Electric Avenue and showcased DJs as well as comedians.
Electric Avenue is located at the Phillips Brewery backlot, as well as a block of Pembroke Street and an adjacent vacant lot. The expanded ground increased capacity to 8,000 people per night.
Hilton closed out her show with a thanks to fans while on stage.
“I love it here,” she said. “This is my first time here in Victoria and I’m going to talk to you all on social media and read all the quotes. Thanks so much for all the love.”

Rifflandia continues through the rest of this weekend at Electric Avenue, and next weekend at Royal Athletic Park from Sept. 15 to 17, with artists like Iggy Pop, Diplo and Salt-N-Pepa in the lineup.
