Highway 14 closed for over 10 hours overnight due to vehicle incident

A vehicle incident on W Coast Rd at Sheringham Point Rd closed Highway 14 in both directions for over 10 hours Friday night into Saturday morning, according to DriveBC.

A tweet from @DriveBC_VI at 10:55 PM on Friday indicated that the highway was closed with crews on scene.

CLOSED – #BCHwy14 – vehicle incident on W Coast Rd at Sheringham Point Rd, west of #SookeBC. The highway is closed in both directions. Crews are on scene. No estimated time of opening. Assessment in progress. Next update 11:45 PM. #YYJ #VancouverIsland #VanIsle

Another tweet at 9:18 AM on Saturday said that the highway was now open.
