Saanich Police are searching for missing 16-year-old Zenaeh Edwards-Helgason who is considered high-risk and was last seen on Dec. 19.
Edwards-Helgason, 17, is 5’6” tall, with an average build and black hair, according to police.
She is believed to be in the Metro Vancouver area, where she was seen wearing a white zip-up jacket, white pants, white and black shoes and a black backpack.
Saanich Police do not say why she is considered high-risk, but note under B.C. policing standards, a missing person is considered high-risk if their health or well-being may be in danger due to physical or mental illness, addictions, disability or age.
Anyone who sees Edwards-Helgason is asked to call 911.
