HarbourCats drop thriller to Kelowna; feel confident in playoff push

CHEK

The Victoria HarbourCats squandered a 4-0 lead last night to the Kelowna Falcons, eventually falling 6-5 in extra innings (11th) at Royal Athletic Park.

Cats starting pitcher Jack Owen was sensational, giving up zero runs and only five hits through seven innings of play, but the Falcons offense came alive when Owen went to the bench.

Despite the loss, Victoria still sits 1.5 games up on second place Bellingham for the lone North Division playoff spot.
