Due to ongoing staffing shortages, Emterra has advised the Capital Regional District that recycling will once again experience service disruptions.
Collection until Aug. 19 may be impacted by delays, and Emterra suggests leaving out recycling to be collected at a later time if it is not picked up on your scheduled day.

“If your recyclable materials are not recovered within 48 hours of your scheduled collection day, please send your address to [email protected],” CRD says in a statement.
Meanwhile, Emterra has several job postings active on its website related to its recycling collection.
One, looking for drivers with a Class 3 licence, offers a wage of $290 per day with a four-day work week and an up to $3,000 signing bonus offered.
