A Vancouver Island goat went on quite the adventure on Thursday evening, visiting a few big-box retailers in Courtenay and amusing local shoppers.
A goat, named Billy, basically lived out the plot of the 1998 film Babe: Pig in the City when he got loose in Courtenay and wound up visiting both a Walmart and Winners.
Photos and videos that have surfaced on social media showcase the goat going on quite the shopping spree, being spotted venturing inside the two stores as well in the parking lot outside.
He was also seen out front of a Sleep Country store as well.
In a video sent to CHEK News, Billy can be seen in the Accessories section of Winners, looking at purses before being escorted out of the store.

“Is that your goat?” one shopper asked. “Nope!” replied a man as he escorted Billy outside the store.
According to social media, Billy has since been returned safely to his rightful owner following his big Thursday night adventure.
