Four injured, one in critical condition following Central Saanich rollover crash

Central Saanich Police say four people were injured in a rollover crash on May 22.

Four people were injured, with one in critical condition, after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Central Saanich, according to police.

In a release, Central Saanich Police say the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of Island View Road.

A single vehicle had left the road, rolled down an embankment and hit trees.

The fire department extracted three people from the vehicle, and the fourth was able to extract himself.

The three who were extracted by the fire department were brought to the Victoria General Hospital. The man who extracted himself was brought to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.

Three of the people have minor injuries, while the fourth is in critical condition.

This is the second rollover crash reported by authorities this weekend.
