Denman Island Fire Rescue freed a driver that was trapped after a single-vehicle rollover crash.
On May 20 around 10:30 p.m., the fire department was called to the incident on the corner of Denman and East roads.
A single person was trapped in the high-velocity rollover and several bystanders were on the scene.
Crews used hydraulic tools to free the person, who was transferred to paramedics.
“Thank you to the bystanders who initiated the call and remained on scene until we arrived,” the department said in a Facebook post. “And as always, thank you to all our volunteers.”
