Santa on the NORAD tracker on Christmas Eve. (NORAD).
The U.S. government is partially shut down, but that isn’t stopping hundreds of volunteers determined to keep up the holiday cheer and take calls from children around the world who want to know when Santa will be coming.
The North American Aerospace Defence Command – a joint U-S-Canadian operation based in Colorado Springs, Colorado – has handled the elaborate operation known as the Official NORAD Santa Tracker.
While children can call in for updates, they can also follow Santa’s progress around the globe on the NORAD Santa Tracker website.
Thx #NORAD for tracking Santa. Our officers will also be out all night tonight to ensure all drivers are sober. pic.twitter.com/e1OXxRyRLq
