

Comox Fire responded to a blaze at The Cozy Mini Storage that broke out Thursday morning.
Comox firefighters quickly contained a fire that broke out in a storage facility Thursday morning.
The call came around 10:30 a.m. and saw a response from three fire trucks and 20 firefighters at The Cozy Mini Storage.
The facility is used as part storage and workshop on Ryan Road in Comox.
The fire department’s smaller rapid invention vehicle was used to hold the fire at bay until bigger fire trucks arrived.

Comox fire chief Gord Schreiner says no one was inside the building when the fire started and there were no injuries.
Responding crews discovered flames on the left side of the building coming out of a window.
The cause of the fire has not been determined and is under investigation.
