Facebook says it has fixed a security problem that has affected nearly 50-million user accounts.

The company says hackers exploited its “View As” feature.

Facebook says it has alerted law enforcement about the security breach.

To deal with the issue, Facebook reset some logins, so 90-million people have been logged out and will have to log in again.

That includes anyone who has been subject to a “View As” lookup in the past year.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg says there is no evidence that those behind the attack have misused account information, but law enforcement has been alerted.

Facebook says it doesn’t know who is behind the attacks or where they’re based.
