Barb Desjardins to step down from Esquimalt and CRD positions
Esquimalt Mayor and Capital Regional District chair Barb Desjardins is taking a leave of absence from those positions.
She says she wants to focus on running as BC Liberal candidate in May’s provincial election.
Desjardins will step away from both jobs by early April.
She says she will not be paid by Esquimalt or the CRD while she is on leave.
