Harbour City residents will head back to the polls in July.
This time in a by-election to replace Wendy Pratt.
After six weeks on medical leave, the first-time councillor resigned on Friday.
Pratt also sat as a director on the Regional District of Nanaimo board.
Nanaimo Mayer Bill McKay provided no details about the reasons for the resignation.
Voters will choose her replacement on July 8th
