Customers and staff at a Victoria Subway were given a shock when woman crashed her scooter through a window at the Fort Street location, suffering minor injuries.
One worker said it happened in a flash.
“I just heard a loud bang and when I turned my back there was already a motorcycle inside the shop, crashed into the shop,” said Subway staff member Ruel Benzon.
The driver suffered injuries but was able to be treated on scene. There’s no word on what caused her to lose control of the vehicle.
The restaurant remained taped off for the remainder of the day but was still open to customers.
