Downed hydro lines close Highway 14 in Jordan River

A section of Highway 14 is closed in both directions in Jordan River after hydro lines came down Wednesday night.

CLOSED – #BCHwy14 – Hydro Lines down have the highway closed in both directions. Crews are on scene.
There is no detour available And there is no estimated time of opening.

Drive BC says the closure is between Waters Edge Drive and Jordan River Rec site, covering 1.5 kilometres.

There are no detours available and no estimated time of the road re-opening.

The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m.

It is not known what brought the lines down.
