Saanich police responded to a reported stabbing in the 3200-block of Alder Street Thursday. A 47-year-old man was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police are looking for a 42-year-old Saanich woman.
A man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed by his common-law wife Thursday night in Saanich.
Saanich police responded to a report of a stabbing around 5:30 p.m. in the 3200-block of Alder Street, near the Mayfair Shopping Centre.
Investigators said the 47-year-old man had been stabbed in the abdomen.
Police have put out a warrant for the arrest a 42-year-old woman from Saanich, who was not located at the time of the incident and fled prior to officers arriving on the scene.
Saanich police’s Street Crime Unit found the woman on Friday and arrested her. She will appear before the courts via telebail.
