
Students and staff at school in Victoria are being warned of possible exposure to the novel coronavirus.
The Greater Victoria School District announced that South Park Family School recently experienced COVID-19 exposure.
The reported exposure occurred on March 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.
South Park Family School is located on the corner of Douglas and Michigan streets in James Bay.
The exposure comes hours after Island Health added Spectrum Community School in Saanich and Brechin Elementary School in Nanaimo to its COVID-19 exposure list.
More than 10 schools currently on the list including Victoria West Elementary School, Lansdowne Middle School, Bayview Elementary, Quamichan Middle School and Cedar Elementary School.
Island Health defines an exposure at a school as a single person with a lab-confirmed COVID-19 infection who attended school during their infectious period.
