This cougar was reportedly sighted in the in the area around Ryder Hesjedal Way and Pipet Place near Royal Bay High School.
A cougar has been spotted in Colwood this morning.
According to West Shore RCMP, a cougar was reportedly seen in the area around Ryder Hesjedal Way and Pipet Place near Royal Bay High School.
Police and conservation officers were out patrolling the area.
In a recent update, West Shore RCMP said the cougar is believed to have left the area.
However, they are asking residents to call them if they spot the animal.
Update to cougar sighting near Royal Bay Secondary School in Colwood. Conservation has informed us that they believe it’s left the area. If you do see it however call it in right away.
