The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating a death on Salt Spring Island after a body was discovered in the water at Ganges Centennial Harbour.
Officials say a woman in her 30’s was found Saturday, and that the investigation into the incident is in its early stages.
RCMP officers could be seen around 4 p.m. working on the scene, as what looked like a body covered with a sheet was visible on one of the docs.
No Further details are being released.
