
Temperatures on the Island are forecast to be low overnight, so Victoria and Campbell River will be opening warming centres.
The City of Victoria will be operating a warming centre at the Salvation Army at 525 Johnson Street from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Cool Aid Society will also open an overnight shelter at Rock Bay Landing at 535 Ellice Street from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. People are advised to phone ahead to reserve a mat at 250-383-1951.

Campbell River will also be operating a warming centre at the Community Centre at 401-11th Avenue from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
