Three people were rescued after their boat overturned near Parksville Sunday morning.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre received a report of the vessel in distress in the French Creek area around 10 a.m.
A Canadian Coast Guard station was nearby. Personnel was sent and successfully rescued all of the boaters.
B.C. Ambulance also responded following the incident but JRCC says all three only suffered minor injuries.
