Clear skies will bring sunny days, but cold nights

A strong ridge of high pressure is anchored over the B.C. coast, bringing clear skies to the region.

But, arctic air is keeping temperatures far below normal.

Daytime highs are between 3 and 8 degrees.

Overnight lows across Vancouver Island are from -1 for coastal regions right down to -7 inland.
