A child has been taken to hospital following an incident at a hotel in Victoria.

Victoria Police responded to Hotel Zed, located on Douglas Street, Wednesday evening following reports of an incident at the facility’s pool.

Police say a child has been transported to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The department says officers are currently supporting the family and are also investigating the circumstances.
