When firefighters arrived, they found a chicken coop on fire. A Jeep, some shrubs, a fence and another truck also caught fire before crews extinguished the blaze.

Taylor said the cause of the fire is under investigation but it does not appear to be suspicious. Officials believe there was some sort of heat source in the coop that may have led to the fire.

“That’s our first line of investigation so we’re looking at that right now and until that time, we’re not ruling out any other forms of combustion,” Taylor said.

No humans or animals were injured in the fire, Taylor said. All the chickens are accounted for.
