CHEK Media Group was named Business of the Year at the 2021 Greater Victoria Business Awards on Saturday evening.
Organized by the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce and the annual awards recognize hard-working businesses, business people and community leaders in 14 different categories. Finalists were chosen by an independent panel of prominent business leaders who served as judges.
This is a great honour for all of the employee-owners at CHEK who have worked so hard through the past year to serve our community,” said Rob Germain, general manager of CHEK Media Group.
CHEK won in the business with more than 40 employees category. Seaspan Victoria Shipyards was named a finalist in the category.
This year’s award ceremony was hosted by CHEK’s very own Stacy Ross and was held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic.
