
Someone on the South Island is holding a winning lottery ticket worth $55 million.
According to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s website, the $55-million prize was sold in the region of Saanich North.
So far the ticket hasn’t been claimed — but it is out there.
If you’ve recently purchased a ticket in the area, it’s time to review.
The lucky numbers are: 1, 3, 8, 24, 35, 42, and 43.
While big, B.C. has seen bigger.
In 2021, one B.C. resident claimed a Lotto max jackpot worth $70 million.
The odds of getting all seven numbers correct is one in 33 million.
