Chance of more thundershowers overnight on Vancouver Island, then back to sunshine

A series of lightning storms moved across Vancouver Island today, with the chance of more lightning storms this evening for east Vancouver island and inland regions.

On Sunday, skies are expected to return to a mix of sun and cloud, with daytime highs in the low to mid 20’s.

As the week progresses, look for skies to clear, and temperatures to climb once again, reaching the upper 20’s for many regions, and the low 30’s for inland areas such as the Alberni Valley.
