WATCH: After a near 40-point lead at half-time, the Castaway Wanderers outlasted the UVic Vikes men’s rugby squad by a final score of 59-29 at Windsor Park Saturday afternoon, advancing to the provincial semi-final.
A great start for Castaway resulted in a 42-3 lead at the half, and while the Vikes attempted to make a run in the second half, the deficit would prove insurmountable.
The Wanderers will now play Burnaby Lake in the semi-final for B.C. bragging rights.
