Police in Saanich are asking for the public to provide them with any information related to a home invasion that reportedly took place on Carey Road on Tuesday.
On June 23 at around 4:12 a.m. Saanich PD officers responded to a home in 3900-block of Carey R0ad after receiving reports of a home invasion.
In a media release, Saanich PD said “an unconfirmed number of persons” entered the home without permission and caused non-life-threatening injuries to someone inside the home.
“Members from the Saanich Police Detective Division are conducting the investigation and currently speaking with those involved. The investigation is ongoing and resources are being utilized from the Patrol Division and Forensic Identification Section,” the release said.
However, Saanich PD is also reaching out to the public for more information and are asking anyone who was in the area during the time of the alleged home invasion to contact them.
Anyone in the area who has video footage, whether it is dashcam footage of footage from a home security system, is asked to contact the Saanich Police Department’s information line at 250-475-4356.
