Bulldogs’ Tonkin-Palmer embracing leadership role

WATCH: Cobble Hill’s Isaac Tonkin-Palmer grew up playing minor hockey with the Kerry Park Islanders, and quickly moved his way up to the PCHA’s Pacific Sea Devils, serving as team captain before moving up to the BCHL’s ranks with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

In his second full season with the team, Tonkin-Palmer was given the nod to be a part of the Bulldog’s leadership group, becoming an assistant captain on the team. The 19-year-old hasn’t taken the nod lightly, embracing his role as a leader in the dressing room, and taking on the role as a shut down third-line center.
