West Shore RCMP has released video footage of an ATM machine stolen from a Langford convenience store early Saturday morning.

The force is also investigating another attempted burglary earlier this month.

The recent break and enter took place before 4 a.m. Feb. 9 at a store located on Happy Valley Road in Langford and video surveillance showed one of two suspects hauling out the ATM machine.

RCMP says the second suspect wore a hoodie with the hood up, a winter jacket with a possible fur collared hood and long pants.

West Shore RCMP says around 5 a.m. Feb. 2, an ATM machine was targeted at a different convenience store on West Shore Parkway in Langford.

A store employee reported an unknown male running into the store with a tow wire around the machine, attached to a white F150 truck.

Police say the suspect was then seen running back to the truck and attempted to haul the ATM away, but the tow wire snapped and the suspect took off empty-handed.
