Arrest made following gun shot through house window in Duncan

The investigation continues into a shooting incident in Duncan early Sunday morning that led to the arrest of one man.

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP says they received a report of a gunshot in the Boys Road area in Duncan and were made aware of a house in the 5000-block of Daniels Crescentthat had a gun-shot through a window.

North Cowichan-Duncan RCMP were joined by Shawnigan Lake RCMP, SouthVancouver Island Traffic Services, Police Dog Services, Emergency Response Team and Forensic Identification Services responded to multiple scenes around Duncan.

Police got the home around 6:30 a.m. and confirmed nobody was injured and officers were able to identify suspects.

One man from the Duncan area was arrested for weapon-related offences.

Investigators believe it is a targeted incident.
