Alleged bank robber still at large, says Nanaimo RCMP

The RCMP say a man wanted in connection with a robbery at a TD Canada Trust in Nanaimo on Feb. 17 is still at large.

Mounties are searching for 46-year-old Daniel William Harlow who is arrestable on one count of robbery, he is described as 5’6″ tall and about 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Police first notified the public of a warrant issued for his arrest on Feb. 21

He has numerous tattoos, most notable being that of the Grim Reaper on his upper right arm and of a Wolf on his upper left arm.

Harlow is also said to use the alias of Daniel or Danny with the last names O’sullivan, Johnstone or Johnson.

They suspect Harlow may also be in the Lower Mainland or may have travelled out of province. He has no fixed address in Nanaimo.

Police say he should be considered violent, and if you spot him or know his whereabouts to not approach him but contact 911 immediately.

Police have released this photo of a suspect after a TD bank was robbed in Nanaimo on Feb. 19.

On Feb. 17 RCMP say a man entered the TD Canada Trust bank at the Terminal Park Shopping Centre. Police said he did not produce a weapon but did indicate he had a gun in his pocket.

The suspect fled on foot after he received an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen heading south through the mall parking lot.
