BC Ferries says the Duke Point terminal will be closed on March 5 in order to conduct upgrades on the ramp.

The upgrades include replacing of hydraulic valves and the control system.

During the closure, sailings will operate out of the Departure Bay terminal.

On March 4, the last sailing on this route will depart out of Tsawwassen at its usual 10:45 p.m. time, but will off-load at Departure Bay. Then on March 5, all sailings will leave out of Departure Bay until the 6th, when sailings will return to normal.

The sailings will be just over two hours in length. BC Ferries has posted a schedule for the departures on its website.
