VicPD seeks help to find high-risk offender James Beecher

Victoria Police is asking for the public’s help to locate a person deemed a “high-risk offender” and wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Authorities say 45-year-old James Beecher is wanted for parole suspension and was last seen in Victoria on Friday, Dec. 4.

“James Beecher is a federal parolee with a history of convictions for drug trafficking, firearms, fraud and property related offences, including forcible entry,” Victoria Police said in a release Monday afternoon.

Beecher is described by police as being 5’9″ and weights approximately 177 pounds with a medium build.

VicPD says if you see Beecher, call 911. Anyone with information about James Beecher, or know where he may be, is asked to call Victoria Police at 250-995-7654, or Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
