Victoria police are searching for two suspects, after a robbery involving a firearm Saturday night.

Police responded just after 9 p.m. to the 100-block of Gorge Road East following reports of the robbery.

One of the two men involved allegedly pulled out a handgun during the incident. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

No one at the scene was injured. But a VicPD officer and two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle collision. It took place while the officer was responding to a report related to the robbery.

All three were transported to hospital, treated and released. The officer is recovering from their injuries and has not yet returned to work.

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man who is between 25 and 35-years-old. He has a muscular build and is around six feet tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and covered his face with a black bandana.

The second suspect is also described as a Caucasian man who is around the same age. He has a muscular build, but smaller than the first suspect. He is also around six feet tall. He was wearing  a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the front and covered his face with a red bandana.

There are two businesses on the 100-block of Gorge Road East, they are the Liquor Depot and Hecklers Bar & Grill.
